Olivia is driven to make a difference in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience. Thus far, Olivia has shown a commitment to her field by disseminating her research findings on a national level, advocating for those who are vulnerable, and serving as a member of the Diversity Equity Committee, Strategic Planning sub-committee, at the University of Miami. In terms of professional engagement, Olivia has a gift for communicating research in a way that is accessible to others. At a recent national conference, Olivia’s work stood out to mentor judges who commended her communication skills and command of the research topic. These qualities will serve Olivia well in her field to maximize her impact.
