Motoki Sato

Kinesiology

Since joining the men's soccer program in 2017, Motoki has been a huge part of our team both on and off the field.  In every season since 2018, he has been one of the top on our team for minutes played and he has been a team captain since 2019. Motoki has excelled through an amazing dedication and work ethic.    As a leader for our program he has coordinated and participated in many community service projects, including coaching soccer camps and has made a positive difference in the lives of many young soccer players.

Motoki has been a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee since 2019 and in 2020 he was named the CCAA Conference Championship Scholar Athlete of the Year, the award given to the player with the highest GPA of all 11 men's soccer teams in the conference. He is the definition of 'Student Athlete' as his discipline, hard work, and positive attitude shine through in every aspect of his life. Motoki plans to pursue his Masters degree in Kinesiology here, in the fall. Congratulations Motoki!
