In the words of her nominator... 

As Geology club president, Morgan takes responsibility to introduce herself to every new student who joins our department as a major or minor. She warmly emails new students and add them to their club email list to get them involved. She  spearheaded an online merchandise store to sell Geology club t-shirts, water bottles and stickers. Morgan is one of the students we have asked to represent our department for fall and spring previews, during which we give prospective students a glimpse of our program. Morgan readily accepts and talks to potential students about our program. Morgan has a tremendous enthusiasm for science and particularly for geology. In all ways she has distinguished herself as a motivated, creative and sound scientist as she has progressed through her education at HSU.
