Lizbeth has shown consistent leadership in student government, advocating for her community to be included in the decision making process that impacts students as well as her work at El Centro through her role as Marketing and Social media specialist. During her time working at El Centro, Lizbeth has brought people from different and diverse backgrounds together, through the events and activities she has convened such as "camino con accion" and the various social media campaigns she has engaged in to promote El Centro.

Lizbeth has shown a vision and commitment by spearheading the HSI-STEM mural project. This is both a work of passion and a literal visual representation of making a positive change on campus that lifts up the presence of Latinx students in the STEM fields.

Lizbeth is a passionate and engaged member of the campus community. Her tenacity and strong work ethic has allowed her to be successful in all the various endeavors she has taken on.
