Kelsey Taylor

Child Development and Family Relationships

Kelsey Taylor has been an extraordinary student since her first semester at Humboldt. Her academic interest and passion have been focused on learning about children with disabilities, their families, and comprehensive ways to support them in the community. She is a mature and thoughtful student who critically examines layers of complexity and makes meaningful connections between theories and practices.

Kelsey has demonstrated professional commitment as assistant head teacher at the Child Development Laboratory. When the Child Development lab had to switch its modality from face-to-face to online, Kelsey was instrumental in creating developmentally appropriate and culturally inclusive online lessons for preschool children. Kelsey is now in the classroom, teaching young children and supporting college students in their practicum, ensuring safety and maximizing the learning experience for all involved. Congratulations Kelsey!
