Chelsea became a Womxn’s Resource Center (WRC) intern in November 2020; and by the beginning of spring 2021, Chelsea was hired on as the Fiscal & Staff Coordinator, a position they continue to hold. Chelsea is organized, hard working, and is a model teammate. Chelsea is a fierce advocate for underrepresented groups and is dedicated to educating others about what they can do to better the world. In addition to the education the WRC provides, Chelsea teamed up with their faculty advisor and peers to present at the 10th Annual California Chapter of National Association of Multi-Cultural Education.

The WRC maintained well during the covid on-line learning period and is successfully emerging back to in-person, in large part due to Chelsea’s collaborative leadership and strong desire to serve their peers in the best way possible. In addition to transitioning back to in-person, the WRC has also had to navigate programmatic oversight changes. Chelsea has met these changes with the grace, maturity, hard work, dedication, and patience.
